Nepal Monte Everest
Our coffee is one of the most valuable of the Arabica variety: the only coffee in the world grown north of the Tropic of Cancer. It grows on a small plantation in the district of Nuwakot, the ancient capital of Nepal, at the foot of the Ganesh Himal mountain range and bathed by the waters of the Trisuli river: green hills, terraced agriculture. Only recently planted in one of the few regions at these latitudes protected from frost, the coffee is grown organically, fertilised with natural buffalo fertiliser, is dried exclusively in the sun and exported directly by air from Kathmandu. The water of the millenary glaciers of the Himalayan chain, where this lot of Excellence grew on the slopes of Mount Everest, in the shade of higher plants, which irrigated it directly, gives a cup with great body but low acidity, with intense aromas that come from dark cocoa to unite with fine notes of spices, syrupy rhubarb and gentian. In the aftertaste there are hints of mountain herbs and mountain pine.
