YEMEN

The Haraz region, within the highest mountain range of the peninsula, offers very little coffee, but of undoubted quality: here the cherries are the last to ripen, enriching themselves with the nutrients of the exceptional soil of what is rightly defined as "the land above clouds".

Every single tree is visited several times and the fruits, chosen exclusively from the ripest, are harvested with extreme delicacy from the plant, to maintain their quality and preserve their health and yield. Finally, after fermentation, they are entrusted on raised beds to the dazzling Arabian sun, which dries them in a completely natural way.

The Sheba farm, which grows this coffee, is a family of small family-run farms, with lands even smaller than 100 square meters, which puts ethical trade and sustainable agriculture at the centre of its values for farmers, to expand and improve the quality of life and coffee, from providing new plants to growing and harvesting them for the value they deserve.

This ensures that all cherries are selected with incredible care and attention.
